Phone alert for a town
Pick a town in the selected state. Your phone gets an alert the first time a verified report puts ICE in that town. No phone number, no account: it uses your browser's notifications and nothing about you is stored.

Enter your phone number, a town and a radius. Your phone gets a text on any new report inside that radius, verified or not (the text says which). We text you a 4-digit code first so nobody can sign up your number. Reply STOP to any text to end.

The first text comes from our number. Save that number as a contact named "ICE Watch". iPhone: open the contact → Edit → Text Tone → turn on Emergency Bypass and pick a loud tone; it then sounds even on silent or Do Not Disturb. Android: star the contact, then Settings → Notifications → Do Not Disturb → allow starred contacts, and set a loud message tone for it.
iPhone: first tap Share → Add to Home Screen, then open it from the home screen to turn alerts on.
